One of the most stunning destinations on earth, Bali has a paradisiacal setting and a wonderful aura. These places are a must-see.

Bali is a picture-perfect paradise with immaculate beaches, candy-colored sunsets, thick vegetation, and vibrant customs. We have a lot of options when it comes to discovering Bali's best areas because it is home to some of the most stunning locations on earth. By day, we can explore clifftop temples, monkey-infested woods, beach clubs with infinity pools that defy gravity, and undiscovered waterfalls. By night, we can dine at restaurants with breathtaking architecture and watch the sunset from renowned bars before retiring to our luxurious accommodations with jaw-dropping decor.

1. The cloud-top temple
A trip to Bali wouldn't be complete without seeing the most well-known temples on the island, and Pura Lempuyang, Bali's oldest Hindu temple, is our favorite for sheer awesomeness. This temple also referred to as the "Gateway to Heaven," is located in Karangasem, perched atop Mount Lempuyang, with a line of seven climbing temples running up the mountainside. The stunning valleys, mountains, and ocean views are worth the 1,700 steps uphill, though. Other breathtaking temple locations include the ocean temple at Tanah Lot and Pura Luhur Uluwatu, which is perched high above the world-famous surf breaks at Uluwatu.

2. The emerald green rice terraces
You only need to travel outside of Bali's popular tourist destinations to find several breathtaking rice fields. The Tegallalang Rice Terraces in Ubud are among the most well-known and breathtaking natural attractions. They are renowned for their picturesque valleys of stair-like rice terraces that extend for miles and are dotted with diligent farmers caring for their prized crops. In order to avoid the tourist throng here, go to Jatiluwih instead, an unspoiled, emerald horizon in the Tabanan Regency that turns gold after sunset.

3. The views of Mount Batur's sunrise
One of Bali's magnificent active volcanoes, Mount Batur, is unquestionably the most well-liked day trip for a sunrise climb. The journey starts early, at around two in the morning when you'll be picked up and driven to the base of Mount Batur for a nighttime climb.
The magnificence of this island experience truly comes into focus as the sun rises by the time you reach the tallest mountain and crater. Once you realize you are directly above the clouds, the golden-hued volcanic landscapes of Bali will appear below you. A tour can be taken from Sideman Valley, where you can stay and travel to Mount Batur's base in about an hour.

4. The sacred Bali lakes
The lakes in Bali are very lovely; they are silent and surrounded by spectacular scenery, which results in some beautiful reflections on the water. Danau Beratan in Bedugul has to be our favorite lake in Bali. It is situated next to Mount Beratan and Mount Catur and is the second-largest lake on the island. The Pura Ulun Danu Bratan temple in the middle of the lake is the primary attraction here. This revered and magnificent temple appears to be floating when the morning or afternoon mountain fog seeps through; it is pure wonder.

5. Sunsets at Seminyak on the south-west coast
Bali sunsets are renowned throughout the world for their flaming red hues that blend with fluffy clouds in a variety of vibrant colors. There are many fantastic locations to witness the ideal sunset, but Bali's southwest coast naturally provides you a front-row seat to the daily display. Sit back at one of Bali's top sunset bars or stroll along the shoreline to see the waves' royal blue hue transform to soft pink.
