PT Angkasa Pura I Bali began planning ahead of the peak of international flights during the Christmas and New Year holidays in 2023.

Angkasa Pura I will prepare several posts as international flights peak during the Christmas and New Year holidays in 2023.

Handy Heryudhitiawan, the General Manager of PT Angkasa Pura I at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport Bali, confirmed this.

His party intends to set up a post so that all guests who attend can be coordinated in one location.

"We also ensure that the airport remains operational." Because the post is for operations, security, and service, everyone from various institutions will congregate there to ensure faster coordination, and because many guests will arrive, they must be followed up on right away, so everything will be more coordinated in one place.

"We will set up a post office at the airport," he said on Sunday, December 11, 2022.

His party is still following the Ministry of Transportation's rules, and the peak of flight traffic is expected to be December 18, 2022-January 4, 2023.

Even though international flights are becoming increasingly congested in Bali, no additional flights have been requested.

Concerning the Covid-19 pandemic, Angkasa Pura Bali is still working with the KPP to determine whether new health rules or protocols must be implemented at the airport.

"There hasn't been a pandemic so far, so just go with it, and we're still coordinating with the KKP, but we're also looking for new rules so we can adjust them."

"We've been coordinating with the Head of KKP up to this point to ensure that Bali is under control," he explained.
